Gonçalo Dias Pais

Short Bio

I am a second year PhD student from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST). I also did my BSc. and MSc in IST.

From February 2020 to August 2020, I was a Graduate Research Intern in Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL), where I helped developed InSeGAN, with Anoop Cherian.

My main research interests are 3D Vision with Deep Learning, and 3D feature extraction. My advisors are Dr. Pedro Miraldo and Prof. Jacinto Nascimento.

  • October 2021: InSeGAN was presented at ICCV Virtual as a poster.
  • September 2021: I was selected to be TA for Object Oriented Programming in P4 (May to July 2022).
